Hi, my name is Les Oxnam and with me is my best friend, companion, soul mate and wife, Sally.

I was born in Foxton, New Zealand in 1952. I became a Christian in 1968 and slipped away from the Lord soon after. In 1978 I returned to the Lord and have never looked back since. That's not to say there haven't been some hard times, because I've had my share of those. But I can say that God is faithful and my life now is the best it's ever been.

I am a tutor of Business Administration and Computing with a Private Tertiary Establishment, which is a position I enjoy very much.

My ministry gift is that of a prophet, which is really cool once you get used to the stones! :)

THE ORIGIN OF THIS SITE

I had for some time wanted to create a web site honouring God and to publish some of the things He has taught me, but every time I tried to plan it nothing worked. I had ideas about a black background with stars...... I just couldn't get it together and was at the point of putting it aside indefinately.

Then God said...

Shortly after giving up on the site I woke early one morning and the only thing I was aware of was God saying to me "Today we will build the website, and this is how it will be." I couldn't wait to get up and start the computer!

I knew exactly what to do and with Dreamweaver and Photoshop open on my computer I started putting things together as He showed me. The autumn leaves were His idea, as was the layout. It was exciting working with Him to do the thing that I had been unable to do. It was amazing how quickly and easily things fell into place and the website was up and running in what seemed like no time at all.

Since then, as time has gone on, He has given me some poems which I have published on here, as well as other teachings. God is awesome and life with Him is such an awesome experience that I can not imagine life without Him.

Specific teachings

Can I encourage you to read particularly Beyond Pentecost and Word of God, but do so not out of traditional theological thinking, but rather through the eyes of the Spirit.

I have great difficulty reading books. With the exception of the Bible I seldom read anything, so that which I have written on these pages is as it has been shown to me by the Lord. I understand the responsibility that comes with teaching and take it very seriously. If there was any doubt in my mind about the teachings offered here I would not have published them. I pray that you will give room for the Holy Spirit to speak to you about these matters.

I will add to this as time goes on... so much to do, so little time...
