ALMIGHTY GOD

YHWH God was always God to the Israelites. He was the Power and Authority. The Mighty God to whom sacrifices were made and their rise or fall was in His hands. The Word of God (who was later born as Jesus, and was part of God ELOHIM (more than two)) came to different people throughout the Old Testament times to speak to them according to God's will, But it was YHWH who was the ultimate God, even though He was also known by many other names.

THE GREATEST BLESSING IN THE OLD TESTAMENT

God's heart has always been the same. He has always had a great desire, which was included in His plan from the beginning.

Abram, later called Abraham received the greatest blessing in the Old Testament. God gave to Abraham the thing which He most desired for Himself. He made Abraham the father of many nations. This was the greatest blessing God was able to give because it was the blessing that He most longed for. To be a Father.
Gen 17:1 And when Abram was ninety-nine years old, Jehovah appeared to Abram and said to him, I am the Almighty God! Walk before Me and be perfect.
Gen 17:2 And I will make My covenant between Me and you, and will multiply you exceedingly.
Gen 17:3 And Abram fell on his face. And God talked with him, saying,
Gen 17:4 As for Me, behold! My covenant is with you, and you shall be a father of many nations.
Gen 17:5 Neither shall your name any more be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham. For I have made you a father of many nations.

THE GREATEST BLESSING IN THE NEW TESTAMENT

Because of God's great desire to be a father, the bearer of His firstborn Jesus is the most blessed. Mary had the honour and privilege of giving birth to God's firstborn. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, the Word of God became not only flesh, but He was the one who transformed God into a Father.

THE GREATEST BLESSING IN ETERNITY

Jesus, firstborn of the Father is most blessed. To Him has been given all power, riches, wisdom, strength, honour, glory and blessing.
Rev 5:11 And I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, and the living creatures and the elders. And the number of them was myriads and myriads, and thousands of thousands,
Rev 5:12 saying with a great voice, Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing.
Rev 5:13 And I heard every creature which is in the Heaven and on the earth, and under the earth, and those that are in the sea, and all who are in them, saying, Blessing and honor and glory and power be to Him sitting on the throne, and to the Lamb forever and ever.
Rev 5:14 And the four living creatures said, Amen. And the twenty-four elders fell down and worshiped the One living forever and ever.

FATHER GOD

When the Word of God became flesh, ie Jesus was born, God took on a completely new role. For the first time He was a Father, a Daddy.
Rev 1:5 even from Jesus Christ the faithful Witness, the First-born from the dead and the Ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood,

Scripture tells us that:
Joh 1:12 But as many as received Him, He gave to them authority to become the children of God, to those who believe on His name,

Rom 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Rom 8:15 For you have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption by which we cry, Abba, Father!
Rom 8:16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God.
Rom 8:17 And if we are children, then we are heirs; heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ; so that if we suffer with Him, we may also be glorified together.

So according to Scripture, God has many children. All of us that are born of the Spirit are children of God. He is Daddy to many!

ALL AUTHORITY

Because Jesus has been given all authority, Mat 28:18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, All authority is given to Me in Heaven and in earth it was obviously not His to begin with. How can you be given something that is already yours?

So when Jehovah God gave all authority to Jesus it left Him free to be that which He desired most, A Daddy loves to love and to be loved. It's all very awesome!

MY DADDY

He has always been there for me and loved me. Even when I denied Him He watched over me and protected me from many things that could have destroyed me. Since I have found Him again I enjoy the love relationship that we share. I feel secure because of His great love and because He knows my future. He knows the depths of my very being. The things I struggle with and the things I delight in. Every moment of every day is shared with Him. The joy in my heart is tremendous and I owe it all to Jesus who gave Himself on the cross of Calvary for me.

I know I've put these verses in earlier, but they are so awesome they are worth repeating. The angels got it right when they said Rev 5:11 And I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, and the living creatures and the elders.
